Hold Space while turning to drift — hold it through a corner and release for a TURBO boost to shake the cops. You start WANTED; named officers chase you. Plow through the crowds if you dare — every pedestrian you hit adds to your jail time, or honk (H) to scatter them out of the way. Get caught and you sit for 1:00 plus your carnage bonus, then you're back on the street… still wanted. Lose the cops by keeping your distance until your stars drop — or duck into a glowing green HIDEOUT to shake them instantly. Grab a nitro for an instant boost, or a smoke screen to cloud the cops. How long can you last without getting caught?
